CEMS-Global USA's 15th Sri Lankan Edition of the Textile Sourcing Series of Exhibitions officially kicked off today (5th March 2026) at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre in Colombo, with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by Hon. Mr. Sunil Handunneththi – Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, and Hon. Mr. Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Deputy Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, who graced the occasion as Chief Guests, underscoring the Government’s continued commitment to strengthening Sri Lanka’s industrial base, advancing value-added manufacturing, and supporting export-led growth.

Present as Special Guests at the ceremony were Mr. Felix A. Fernando – Chairman, Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF); Mr. Yohan Lawrence – Secretary General, JAAF; and Mr. Husni Salieh – Chairman, Fabric Apparel Accessory Manufacturers Association (FAAMA). The ceremony was hosted by Mr. S. S. Sarwar – Group CEO of CEMS-Global USA, who welcomed distinguished guests, exhibitors, industry stakeholders, media representatives, and international delegates to the landmark edition of the exhibition.
