The 21st Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2024 (Winter Edition) organized by CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-Tex China kicked off at ICCB Dhaka today, 6th March 2024. This esteemed Exhibition focused on the Textile and Garment Industry of Bangladesh was inaugurated by Mr. Lokman Hossain Miah, Executive Chairman (Senior Secretary) of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) who was present as the Chief Guest.

Also present as Special Guests were Mr. Faruque Hassan, President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (Brand BGMEA); Mr. Md. Amin Helaly, Senior Vice President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI); Mr. Md. Nuruzzaman, Director General (Additional Secretary) of Department of Textiles – Ministry of Textiles and Jute; Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, Director General of the Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh; Mr. Akhter Hossain Apurba, Vice President of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA); and Mr. Song Yang, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh. The hosts of the Opening Ceremony were Ms. Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global, and Mr. Zhang Tao, Vice President & Secretary General of The Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT China.
